A talk will be given by

     Marc Kilian Wahsner

and is entitled:

     'Further optimizing RNApuzzler drawings and extending the ViennaRNA 
SVG functionalities'

Abstract:

     In order to understand the form and function of RNA molecules, their
     secondary structure is frequently displayed using planar, intersection
     free drawings. One algorithm that generates such drawings is 
RNApuzzler,
     which is extended and analyzed using ant colony optimization, particle
     swarm optimization and fitness landscape analysis. Furthermore, the
     interactive functionalities of ViennaRNA SVG drawings will be extended,
     to allow for a higher level of customization, integrate the interactive
     dot plot viewer iDotter into the workflow and allow for the manual
     rotation of stems.
