The research group Ontologies in Medicine and Life Sciences (Onto-Med)
at the Institute of Medical Informatics, Statistics and Epidemiology
(IMISE), University of Leipzig, Germany opens a number of positions
(50%-100% of TV-L E13) in publicly funded research projects regarding
the development of ontologies and their application in various medical
or biomedical areas. The positions start as soon as possible and are –
without any fixed deadline – open until filled.

Requirements
Candidates hold a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics
or in a related field. They are able to work on both conceptual modeling 
of domains and practical implementation tasks related to the following 
areas: Ontologies, Semantic Web technologies, Semantic technologies in 
bioinformatics, medical informatics or another application field. Fluent 
English or German communication skills are required.
