*INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BIOMEDICAL ONTOLOGY - **ICBO 2023 *

*will be a hybrid meeting that includes **both in-person and virtual
participation for authors' presentations.*



*ICBO 2023 will be held with the 16th Seminar on Ontology Research in
Brazil – **ONTOBRAS 2023* <https://www.inf.ufrgs.br/ontobras/>* - Joint
events are planned.*

The focus of our 2023 conference is *"The role of Ontologies in Artificial
Intelligence and Machine Learning"*.

*Submission Format:*

●        All contributions accepted will be published open access in a
joint CEUR proceedings volume, as part of the new IAOA series.

●        Submissions should be formatted according to the CEUR-ART
template, single column (available from the conference website

●        Short papers up to 5 pages.

●        Poster Abstracts: 1 page extended abstract format, with limited
references.

The conference will be held in Brasilia (Brazil) but we are open to accept
