Dear Angelo!

Thanks for giving SEM26 a push!!
Unfortunately I can’t make it on the 21st but maybe me and Giray are not that important at this point in time in our role as program chairs and we can join at a later appointment.

But there are two topics I want to raise for the kick off:

  *   Setting our dates in sync with ISWC notification deadlines
  *   Initiating a advisory board meeting to get their approval for SEM26 --> I can take action here.

Dear all,

Welcome to the SEMANTiCS family!

The best time, which guarantees at least one chair from each track is available, is Tuesday, October 21st, at 3 PM CET. I may catch up separately with those who cannot make it.

We will use this slot for a recurring series, meeting on the same day and time every third week of the month.

For the first meeting I want to kick-start our activities, with the goal of having the content for the website and the publicity going in the second week of November.
All meeting notes and details are in our [shared doc] – please add anything you want to discuss there.

I'll be sending out the calendar invitation shortly.

Dear all,

How are you doing? It is time to kick off the organisation for the next edition of SEMANTiCS.

I would like to hold one-hour organizing meetings on the third week of every month. To find the best time, please fill out the [when2meet] poll as soon as possible, and no later than ** 7 Oct **, so I can schedule the event series.

The [team] is almost complete, we are just filling up the very last few positions. But since we have at least one person per role, we can get going.
If you haven't already, please send me your profile picture. You can check the [pictures folder] to see if we have yours. In a few days, will ask the Web Chairs to upload all the profile pictures to the website.

We will use a [shared folder] on Google Drive to organise our work, which will include a dedicated space for each track, and our [meeting notes]. I am currently populating this with relevant information from the previous edition and aim to have it finalised before our first meeting. You should already have access; if not, please let me know, and I'll add you.

Also, please make sure you have joined the Semantics Conference workspace on Slack. You should have received an invitation a few days ago.
