[Qrowd] Updates to Task 2.1 and Task 3.1

Hi Robert, all,

unfortunately we're running out of time, which means that we cannot wait 
for Andreas' updates any further. Could we try to finalize the work plan 
without him. This means making an educated guess for the issues that are 
still unsolved...it is not optimal, but it would allow us to concentrate 
on other things.
